You may be saying well that easy no, because they took Haskins last year. Well, I agree with that to a point but if Tua is healthy he would be definitely giving Joe Burrow a run for his money at number one. The fact that he is even in the talk for number one after such a bad injury shows how good he really is. I think Haskins just really is not the answer in Washington. If you as a team feel like you need to find that franchise QB I would say take him because at the end of the day one player such as Chase Young will not fix that Washington defense. Chase Young is a great player but the QB position is tops in the league when it comes to helping you win games. I mean look at the Titans with Mariota they struggled but with an efficient QB in Tannehill they got to AFC Championship. At the end of the day even the best defensive player needed a good QB to win games. Just look at LT he needed Phil Simms to win. At the end of the day many teams are looking for a young QB and if you take Tua you can always trade Haskins for a late first or early second which in this draft you could get a decent player. This is one of the deepest drafts in resent history, if I were the Washington, I would go for it and try to help your roster other ways later in the draft. If a team say Miami wants Haskins take their late first round pick which is number 26th pick and then you could take DE A.J. Epenesa who in any other draft would be at least a lottery pick with is talent and production. This way you as a team get talented edge rusher and you also get your franchise QB.
