Joe Burrow is the best QB in the NCAA right now, the current Heisman winner led the LSU Tigers to a National Championship. But Burrow’s journey was definitely not normal. To start from the begin Joe Burrow was born December 10, 1996, in Ames, Iowa. He then moved and grew up in The Plains, Ohio. Where he went to high school at Athens High School, he is a four-star recruit. He then went to Ohio State, where he Red-shirted in 2015 and then he struggled to get playing time with Dwayne Haskins. He did however do it in the best way possible because he actually graduated in three years at Ohio State, which allowed him to graduate transfer which means he is able to play right away instead of waiting. He looked at lots of places when trying to transfer, including but not limited to LSU, Alabama, Clemson, etc. Burrow did come out and say that he tried to go to Alabama, and they would only give him the third stringer spot. So, as we all know he choose LSU, at LSU in his first season Burrow finished with 2,894 yards passing, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Which is not a bad season but definitely does not say first overall pick. It was his senior year where he took off leading LSU to a National Title and being named the Heisman Trophy winner as well as the Maxwell award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm award, Walter Camp award, to name a few. In his by far best season Burrow threw for 5,671 yard, 60 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Now Burrow is slated to be picked number 1 by his hometown team who he grew up routing for in the Cincinnati Bengals who honestly really need him to jump start their rebuild.
