The app I chose was Bleacher Report. Bleacher Report is a sports news app that focuses around sports news and culture. One of the best things about the Bleacher Report app is that you can pick specific items to link to your page so you can actually see them and get notifications from them. So, my case, I have the Packers on there. I also have NFL football; I have basketball news; I have the Lakers; the Miami Heat, etc. This is the primary place I get all my sports news because it is extremely fast as well as that usually has the most groundbreaking news. This app is extremely easy to use, with lots of help functions, as well as easy access in and out of different pages. I believe the Bleacher Report has surpassed ESPN when it comes to sports news apps. I also feel that Bleacher Report is a must have for any sports fans, but especially avid sports fans. They also use a trending feed in order for you to catch all trending news and sports no matter what. I actually got the notification that Kobe Bryant passed away before it was reported due to this feed. They also create and post lots of content on there. Anything from different mock drafts for all major sports, to redrafting of different drafts and player highlights. One of my personal favorite items they created is called Game of Zones. This is an NBA parity on Game of Thrones using NBA characters acting out different events that are happening in the NBA. They even have things for fantasy sports players, such as rankings of the best athletes to draft, to updates on their status. This feature also allows you to pick certain players on your fantasy team in order to get updates exclusively on them instead of the entire team they are on. All in all, I feel Bleacher Report is an amazing sports app and it is definitely ahead of the curve when it comes to creating content, as well as updating with any news.
